Specialists in recycled
leather suede.

We exist to make verified sustainable material accessible to brands and manufacturers who need documentation, not just declarations.

What we do

Matterhorn supplies 100% recycled leather suede to footwear brands, bag manufacturers, and ODM factories worldwide. Our primary material — Fly Suede — is a recycled leather and PET fiber substrate that delivers the soft hand-feel of premium suede with independently verified chemical compliance.

We supply two markets: comfort and lifestyle footwear (think Birkenstock-style and casual shoes) and fashion bags and accessories at the Coach and Michael Kors quality level. Both applications have different regulatory requirements, and we hold third-party test reports from SGS and Bureau Veritas covering both use cases.

Where we are

Our operations are based in Quanzhou, Fujian Province, China — the centre of China's footwear manufacturing industry, accounting for over 40% of China's shoe production. This location gives us direct access to the world's most developed footwear supply chain ecosystem, shorter lead times, and deep familiarity with the compliance requirements of international brands.

How we work with buyers

We work directly with international brands, procurement teams, and ODM factories. Our process is straightforward: you send us your product specification and application, we confirm material fit, and we ship a physical sample card with the relevant test documentation. We don't ask for NDA signatures to share test reports — qualified buyers can request them directly.

We export to Europe, North America, Australia, and across Asia. Lead time, MOQ, and pricing are discussed directly based on your project requirements.

Our approach to sustainability claims

We are deliberate about what we claim and how we evidence it. "Recycled content" is verified on our SGS test report (100% recycled material declaration). Chemical compliance is independently tested — not self-assessed. We don't make broad sustainability claims that we cannot document.

For buyers who need GRS (Global Recycled Standard) or RCS certification specifically, we encourage you to contact us to discuss your volume requirements and timeline — this is something we can explore together for qualifying partnerships.

Let's talk about your project.

Tell us what you're making and we'll send you the right sample and documentation.
